There are many ways to react in a less than desirable situation. Most of us immediately act out of fear, guilt or shame during these moments and more often than not, we respond quite poorly. But, with some focus and redirection, there is a way to look at any given situation in a positive manner, and just like anything else, the more you practice this positivity, the more automatic it becomes. Who doesn’t want more positivity in their lives?
Heck, even Scrooge was able to make a comeback. If that’s not inspiration, I don’t know what is. But, having a positive outlook on life when you’ve spent so long with your head facing in the opposite direction is no easy task.
We must face the ghosts that haunt us: the Shame of the past, The Worry of the present, and the Fear of the future.

Every holiday season people strive to be a little nicer, a little more giving and a bit more understanding, but why not make it permanent? Let’s banish the inner Scrooge for good and take the “Bah Humbug” out of our vocabulary. It won’t be easy, but nothing that’s worthwhile is.
