The Nightmare Before Christmas

What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?

I’ve put some thoughts into this question — it’s a tie!

I absolutely LOVE Christmas.

BUT…

I absolutely LOVE Halloween.

Now, let me explain.

First of all, each of these holidays transforms our world into a whole new vibe.

Christmas, historically, is paired with feelings of generosity and joy, creating a wonderful of good feelings as we are immersed in the holiday.

Halloween allows us to become whatever we want as it puts our fears on blast in front yards and empty warehouses — yet we thrive on it. 

Both of these to me are, ah, let’s say, therapeutic and fulfilling.  They each bring people together in their own way.  And although I do despise the cold, it never stands in my way from fully enjoying both of these holidays each year.  I even had a Halloween wedding!
